Gail’s memories
Unless you have been there and slept under the stars with your child in the desert of Utah, it is difficult to explain the harmony and trust that RedCliff works so well to accomplish.
Chris’ days at RedCliff were mixed. Initially with disgust and an attitude, and ultimately with respect for himself and ALL others. Chris’ “solo” was apparently a “night to remember” with a nasty, nasty thunder and lightening storm. Storm was SO severe that staff headed out very, very early morning to make sure he was OK. They found him with a smile and a sense of accomplishment
- he was just fine. Redcliff is a special place, and the “run-in” memories and photos will bring tears to parents’ eyes every day of the week.”

Wow.
I went to Red Cliff when I was 17. I am now 20. I miss it everyday. It’s an amazing program and although I didn’t like it at first, it has turned out to be one of the best experiences of my life so far. I would love to go back. I miss the long hikes, sleeping under tarps, digging fire pits, and sitting around the campfire cooking rice and lentils.
