RedCliff Ascent is a proud member of the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs.

Proven Curriculum

RedCliff is not based on idealistic untried methods of treatment delivery, but on 10 years of experience and success. Our unique program has evolved into an eight phase academic/wilderness skills curriculum designed to build character and self esteem. The curriculum includes an introductory phase and seven additional phases based on fundamental values deemed to be critical to our social well being. Through each of the phases a student will explore a specific value in great depth. Reading stories and introspective writing exercises help internalize both the cognitive and the behavioral aspects of the values. The wilderness environment and the small community atmosphere provide the perfect training grounds for the students to explore and build upon their internal compass. An individualized treatment plan administered by our clinicians, coupled with our unique value based curriculum and a challenging wilderness trek, has proven to be a powerful therapeutic life changing experience.
