Our Philosophy

Individual Treatment Above Rigid Length of Stay

Every student that enrolls in the RedCliff Ascent treatment program brings a unique set of circumstances and problems. The one commonality they typically share is the avoidance of the "business of life." Their system of avoidance is usually based on an attitude where they expect everyone around them to compensate for their own lack of responsibility. Only through a consistent and unrelenting process, where they recognize that the old "rules" no longer apply, will they be motivated to change. Each adolescent differs in his or her system of avoiding responsibility. Consequently, they require an individualized intervention that will help them understand that their previous way of life is no longer beneficial. For this reason, RedCliff emphasizes individual treatment above a predetermined length of stay.
