Deb has been a therapist in healthcare disciplines for 30 years. She received a Masters Degree in Counseling from the University of South Florida, Tampa in 1995, and a Doctorate in Clinical Sexology from the American Academy of Clinical Sexology at Maimonides University, Miami in 2002. She has also been a licensed occupational therapist since 1976, working over the years with all ages and in school, hospital, and clinic settings in both Louisiana and Florida. During the last five years, before moving to Utah in 2006, she had focused her energies on private psychotherapy with specialties in relationship therapy, hypnotherapy, body-mind therapy, and women’s issues. Wilderness survival has been her passion, and it is her dream-come-true to now work in the desert for RedCliff Ascent. When she isn’t counseling, she enjoys hanging out at home with her psychotherapist husband and her two cats. She also enjoys being in nature and being creative, primarily with writing and art.
