Mike Petree

Staff Services Director

Mike Petree, in his sixth year at Redcliff, is the Assistant Staff Director at Redcliff Ascent as well as Pro-Purchase Coordinator. Mike earned his Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in December 2002. He and his wife Bekkah, worked side-by-side as Senior Field Instructors until accepting positions on the Support Staff team. Mike is currently assisting in research concerning the change that occurs with adolescents in the wilderness, and is preparing for graduate school in Psychology. Born and raised in Kansas, Mike was taken with the rugged desert landscape and touched by the profound changes he witnessed in participating students. Consequently, he's taken root in Southern Utah and intends to dedicate his life to the development of wilderness therapy.
