Summary of Outcome Studies

To summarize the research findings, we at RedCliff Ascent do not believe our wilderness program is the panacea. However, we know we have helped thousands of struggling teens and their families find a new light of hope and peace within the home and the family unit.

If you place your child in RedCliff's wilderness treatment program, you can expect that:

91.4% of the students that enroll in RedCliff Ascent will experience more than a 13 point reduction in their baseline score. This means that clinically they have made significant measurable progress.
46.2% to 47% will measure normal or recovered. upon graduation and up to six months later. Compared to a 22% recovery measured in other forms of therapy.
Dr. Russell's Research shows, that of the four different categorized wilderness models in this study, the continuous flow model, (the model that RedCliff Ascent uses) showed the greatest treatment progress.
