Kaitlyn Jones grew up in Utah hiking, off-roading, canyoneering, backpacking, and adventuring outdoors. She started her work in Wilderness Therapy just under two years ago as a field staff at RedCliff Ascent. She fell in love with the healing power of adventure and wilderness. She has since held the roles of Field Instructor, Head Instructor, Assistant Field Support Manager and is currently a Field Support Manager for our team.

Kaitlyn received her Bachelor’s Degree in Outdoor Recreation in Parks and Tourism with an Education emphasis and has since been in a number of outdoor leadership roles. She has been leading outdoor adventure trips for adolescents, young adults, and families for more than 4 years as an adventure guide and river guide. She is also a certified Emergency Medical Technician and a Wilderness First Responder.

When she’s not at work she can be found in the desert heat exploring new areas, hiking, trail running and enjoying the company of friends and family.

Kaitlyn has a great passion for this work and believes in everything wilderness therapy offers to the students who attend the program.
