Expectations

RedCliff offers a consistent and unvarying expectation of each student. There is common structure for each teen to make possible their development. The program structure does not vary from staff to staff or from therapist to therapist. This provides a seamless transition from assessment to treatment as troubled teens confront the challenges of the program.

A consistent behavioral standard provides a way to measure the student’s developmental progress. Although the structure does not change, RedCliff implements individualized therapy to meet each student’s needs. Interventions are custom designed to address a particular teen’s specific patterns of resistance.

Communication

Also, RedCliff wilderness therapy field instructors, administrators, and therapists are unified by a common language. Because communication is consistent, program structure and expectations are the same from staff to staff and therapist to therapist. In other words, we run one therapeutic program with several groups, not many groups practicing many programs.
